Fair trade chocolate

Cocoa bean brokers work in the field with farmers, oversee the harvesting and fermenting processes, and handle the beans when they are down at the ports. They act as an intermediary between the farmer and the cocoa bean buyer. And just as coffee has gone the way of fair trade, chocolate manufacturers too are now more cognizant of the conditions under which their beans are grown and have influenced changes that positively affect the farmers.
